On the heels of the latest release of Double Dragon: Neon on Nintendo Switch, Majesco Entertainment is excited to announce that the long-loved Nintendo DS classic Monster Tale will be finding its way onto modern game platforms in 2021. So to see Majesco decide to figure out a modern release is exciting, although I have many questions. I remember getting it for full price the week before Target clearanced them out, but I wasn’t disappointed in the overall adventure, even if it had a few design flubs that undermined its overall quality a bit (especially the backtracking). As my Top 111 shows, I happen to quite like Monster Tale.

I was a little taken aback to see the news that Majesco is resurrecting their late DS Metroidvania/critter raising sim Monster Tale for release on unstated modern platforms later this year.
